The Virginia Bassmasters, established in 1971, remains the largest B.A.S.S. Federation affiliated club in Virginia. As a member of Region 7, we fish monthly tournaments March through November all over the states of Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland including Kerr Reservoir, Lake Gaston, the Chickahominy River, Perquimans, and the Potomac River to name a few.  We're very competitive and always fun.

The Virginia Bassmasters are a leading force in Region 7. The Virginia Bassmasters have been instrumental in building handicap accessible boating and fishing docks around the state.

Our Purpose:
To stimulate public awareness of Bass Fishing as a major sport.
To offer our state conservation department our organized moral and political support and encouragement.
To promote full adherence to all conservation codes and to demand adequate water standards and legal enforcement of existing regulatory standards.
To improve our skills as Bass Anglers through fellowship of friendly exchange of expert bass catching techniques and ideas, and to function as a dynamic and effective link with other chapters embracing the principles and purposes of The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society
